Giveaways coming in the next few days!

Hey readers!!

I cannot even begin to tell you how pumped I am for the giveaways I have coming in the next few days. Firstly, before I talk about it - I just want to say that I met Gayle Forman tonight! Eeeeeeeeeee! She was the sweetest ever. She was one of my top 5 authors before, and now I won’t lie, she’s my all time fave. It’s awesome to meet someone and they are even better than you expected. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow as well as a write up of the discussions the panel (Vikki Wakefield, Myke Bartlett and Gayle Forman) talked about tonight.

Leading on from this - Gayle was very kind to sign a copy of Just One Day for me, as well as one for Kristy and a third copy for a VERY lucky winner on this blog. In the next few days keep your eye out for the rafflecopter (pics included of what Gayle signed!) to enter. I have decided to make this international as well, so it’s going to be huge!

Second giveaway is thank you to Harlequin Books Australia. I am giving away two copies of Dare To You (Pushing The Limits #2) by Katie McGarry. I am very excited to be reading this book myself in June, and so this giveaway will be coming in the next day or two. It is open to Australian residents only though unfortunately (or if you have an Australian mailing address). Keep your eyes peeled!

And thirdly, my standard monthly giveaway is back! Tomorrow, I’ll be posting my standard monthly giveaway with 12 new June release YA books to choose from and two winners will be announced at the end of the month.

So you’ll be seeing lots of things in the next few days! Exciting times at Book Nerd Reviews! Stay tuned. :)

Good morning! Today, I am sharing the upcoming releases due out in June that I am looking forward to reading! June is set to be an amazing month for YA releases!

Wildlife - Fiona Wood

Life? It’s simple: be true to yourself.
The tricky part is finding out exactly who you are…

In the holidays before the dreaded term at Crowthorne Grammar’s outdoor education camp two things out of the ordinary happened.
A picture of me was plastered all over a twenty-metre billboard.
And I kissed Ben Capaldi.

Boarding for a term in the wilderness, sixteen-year-old Sibylla expects the gruesome outdoor education program – but friendship complications, and love that goes wrong? They’re extra-curricula.

Enter Lou from Six Impossible Things – the reluctant new girl for this term in the great outdoors. Fragile behind an implacable mask, she is grieving a death that occurred almost a year ago. Despite herself, Lou becomes intrigued by the unfolding drama between her housemates Sibylla and Holly, and has to decide whether to end her self-imposed detachment and join the fray.

And as Sibylla confronts a tangle of betrayal, she needs to renegotiate everything she thought she knew about surviving in the wild.

A story about first love, friendship and NOT fitting in.

Ink (Paper Gods #1) - Amanda Sun

I looked down at the paper, still touching the tip of my shoe. I reached for it, flipping the page over to look.

Scrawls of ink outlined a drawing of a girl lying on a bench.

A sick feeling started to twist in my stomach, like motion sickness.

And then the girl in the drawing turned her head, and her inky eyes glared straight into mine.

On the heels of a family tragedy, the last thing Katie Greene wants to do is move halfway across the world. Stuck with her aunt in Shizuoka, Japan, Katie feels lost. Alone. She doesn’t know the language, she can barely hold a pair of chopsticks, and she can’t seem to get the hang of taking her shoes off whenever she enters a building.

Then there’s gorgeous but aloof Tomohiro, star of the school’s kendo team. How did he really get the scar on his arm? Katie isn’t prepared for the answer. But when she sees the things he draws start moving, there’s no denying the truth: Tomo has a connection to the ancient gods of Japan, and being near Katie is causing his abilities to spiral out of control. If the wrong people notice, they’ll both be targets.

Katie never wanted to move to Japan—now she may not make it out of the country alive.
