I’m a huge fan of Scott Westerfeld, and the first book of his I read was Uglies. His current Leviathan series is much better though.

I think Uglies has some important messages in it for teens. What do you think of Boy meet Boy by Levithan? I’ve heard a lot about it but I haven’t read it.
