Locke & Key Volume 2 - Joe Hill

I bought this copy. :)

Acclaimed suspense novelist and New York Times best-selling author Joe Hill (Heart-Shaped Box) continues his all-new story of dark fantasy and wonder. Winning what you want may cost you everything you love.

One day, she is startled to find a kindred spirit in a young slave up for auction. Arin’s eyes seem to defy everything and everyone. Following her instinct, Kestrel buys him—with unexpected consequences. It’s not long before she has to hide her growing love for Arin.

What do you think?

  • Leigh says:

I’m so excited to read The Winner’s Curse! I was going to buy Scarlet at Target today, but decided to get the first two books of Harry Potter instead because I’ve never read it :O . Haha I remember when I was a kid I thought it was too long to read lol but now I’m kind of regretting because Harry Potter could’ve been a part of my childhood. Oh well. I read A BUNCH of Goosebumps and Magic Tree House books so that’s all right.

    • Kristy says:

Well Harry Potter is still a good choice of book purchase! Don’t worry, I read Harry Potter as an adult - and although it would have been great to have that as part of my childhood, I think there are also things that are truly magical about reading it for the first time as adult. You can respect it in a completely different way as an adult.
