W..W..W.. Wednesdays

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time to tell you what we have been up to for the past week (well, two weeks actually). W..W..W.. Wednesdays is a weekly meme bought to you by MizB from Should Be Reading.

What are you currently reading?

Kristy - Sinner (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3.5) by Maggie Stiefvater.

Melissa - I’m continuing with Fables at the moment, it’s SO good!! I’m reading Fables Volume 4: March of the Wooden Soldiers, and I am also continuing with the horror series Locke & Key, and am reading Locke & Key Volume 4: Keys to the Kingdom.

What did you recently finish reading?

Kristy - I listened to Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3) by Leigh Bardugo.. as well as reading The Witch of Duva (The Grisha, #0.5), The Tailor (The Grisha, #1.5), The Too-Clever Fox (The Grisha, #2.5) and Little Knife (The Grisha, #2.6).

Melissa - I finished reading Fables Volume 2: Animal Farm, Fables Volume 3: Storybook Love, Chew Volume 2: International Flavour, as well as Locke & Key Volume 3: Crown of Shadows. That’s right! I have been very busy!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Kristy - Ummm tough choice. Either Cooper Bartholomew is Dead by Rebecca James, Talon (Talon #1) by Julie Kagawa or My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories by Stephanie Perkins.

Melissa - Still on my list is Batgirl: Year One or maybe Gotham Central Volume 1.

What do you think?

  • *whispers* Kristy you should read Talon next so I can decide if I want to read it or not ;)

I guess I really need to get on the Stiefvater train, huh? I’ve only read the Raven Boys books, but everyone and their mother talks about the Shiver books. Although Scorpio Races actually interests me a bit more; I just don’t do werewolves.

    • Kristy says:

lol. It is on my list… I will be reading Talon soon :) But it has dragons, how could you not want to read it?

I really enjoyed the Shiver series - I really liked her take on the wolves. I have only really enjoyed 2 series about wolves, and they were very different from each other. I really think you would like Maggie’s writing, so if wolves aren’t your thing, definitely read Scorpio Races!
