Instant Lookback

Hi everyone! Welcome to the another edition of Instant Lookback! This is where I show you the bookish pictures I have shared over on Instagram. I am also going to include some links to some recent posts as well, just in case you missed them :)

I may post all my pictures, I may only post a few… so if you don’t want to miss out on any, come follow me over at Instagram @ kristy_book_nerd!

So I have been a litle MIA lately. Some of it is due to work, some of it is due the amazing holiday I recently went on! I posted most of my holiday pictures on my personal Instagram account, but I posted some to the blog account, mainly bookish related pictures. One of the best things about travelling - books are everywhere! You may not understand the language they are printed in, but it is great knowing they are there!

This is also going to be a big edition, as I will post my pictures from the #AusYAChallenge - where I had to fit the whole month of March challenges into 12 days! I did it though :) I will do anything to support Aussie YA! So it will be a longer post than normal, but pretty much all pictures, and who doesn’t love looking at pretty bookish pictures?

So, enjoy this mammoth edition of Instant Lookback! Instant Lookback is a weekly meme bought to you by Brett Michael Orr.

It was hard to find, but I finally found Brimstone’s door!! But sadly Akiva had already found it @lainitaylor it was near impossible to find, but it was hiding in the Jewish Quarter, just like you said! For those who want to know about Brimstone’s door, a section of Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor: “Karou crossed the Charles Bridge and took the tram north to the Jewish Quarter, a medieval ghetto that had given way to a dense concentration of Art Nouveau apartment buildings as pretty as cakes. Her destination was the service entrance in the rear of one of them. The plain metal door didn’t look like anything special, and in and of itself, it wasn’t. If you opened it from without, it revealed only a mildewed laundry room. But Karou didn’t open it. She knocked and waited, because when the door was opened from within , it had the potential to lead someplace quite different.” Note: this photo was taken in the Jewish Quarter in Prague. No photoshop used and no damage was done to the door in the making of this photo #daughterofsmokeandbone #brimstone #eretz #booknerd #bookstagram #instabook #booknerdigans
