Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

Hrm… I am going to go with Torment, which was the second book in the Fallen series.

Just a warning that this contains spoilers!

I just really hated the ending because I felt like it came out of nowhere but then it also really didn’t explain themselves. This battle just took place randomly… who are the outcasts meant to be? That was never really explained. What did they want? And what on earth was going on with Luce at the end? I am guessing Luce is short for Lucifer? I mean, that would annoy me if it was that obvious. But anyways. I just didn’t enjoy it.

Asking for me to change it to something else is another matter. I am more one of those people who will complain but never offer a solution. lol

“What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? (If your next season is other than fall/autumn, tell us about it and what you are most looking forward to in your part of the world!)”

Well here in the land down under it is spring (finally!) which means an end to our cold winter weather, which I hate! And it also means that daylight savings is not far away either, which is an added bonus!

I have almost a month off work from October 7 - November 1st, so I am looking forward to doing NOTHING except reading and relaxing during that time!

Bigger picture beyond spring though, is that I am in the middle of planning a 21 day trip to the USA right now! I am going to be there from May 9th - May 30th and I am seeing LA, Disneyland (for three days!), Vegas, NY, Washington DC, Boston & New Jersey. I am SO excited! Flights are being booked this week. So I guess that kinda falls into this season since all the planning and booking is happening right now. :)

I’m worried now - I recently read Fallen and I’m going to start book #2! I didn’t read what you wrote though, so I wouldn’t spoil myself, but now it makes me want to read it ASAP to find out!

    Happy Friday!

This week’s question was a tough one! I picked a book that overall, I wasn’t particularly fond of, so that way I didn’t feel bad about criticizing the ending.

I haven’t read it, so I won’t read your post, but it sucks that you’d want to change the ending! Or, at least, I wouldn’t think it do be a too good read, but since I haven’t read the post I wouldn’t know! Hope it wasn’t. :)

I’m a new follower. Happy weekend! My FF can be found here!

I’m all around jealous of your Australian-ness, haha! I’ve always had a thing for Australia, and I’m DYING to go there!!

Enjoy your USA trip! Disneyland is fantastic, the energy in NYC is incredible, and I’m from the Boston area, another fabulous city as well. You’re going to have an amazing time!

First off I want to say that I absolutely love your blog layout!

Now on to the hop! You are so lucky to be living in Aus! I’ve always wanted to go there. As for your trip to the US, hope you have a very awesome time! I’ve lived in the US all my life, but have never been to any of the places you are going on your trip except for D.C! While your there you should go to the zoo! It’s incredible, though the zoos in Aus are probably way more amazing.

I’ve read Fallen and loved it. I haven’t read Torment yet, so I had to quickly advert my eyes. I’m sorry you had issues with Torment, it’s never fun to find them in books.

    I am definitely a new follower.=)
