In My Mailbox #36

Good morning!! How is everyone today? I am cooking up some early lunch for myself at the moment, pita bread pizza. Mmm!

On to IMM this week! As always In My Mailbox is a weekly meme bought to you by the lovely Kristi at The Story Siren.

Fracture - Megan Miranda

I’m excited for this book! Goodreads states that this is for fans of the books If I Stay and Where She Went by Gayle Forman as it’s similar with the whole life and death line being blurred. Then again, sometimes comparing books is not a good thing! The reviews for this book have been really good though and it’s scored a pretty good overall rating on Goodreads also, so I am definitely keen to see what it’s all about!

Switched - Amanda Hocking

I would have prefered the pretty red cover that you can get, however this is the copy that sells in Australia. The cover is still very pretty and the butterflies have gold bits in them too! This sounds intriging - Wendy’s mother tried to kill her after acusing Wendy of being a monster and being switched at birth. 11 years later Wendy comes to think her mother might have been right. The back of this book says Featuring New Material also. Hmm?

Welcome, Caller, This Is Chloe - Shelley Coriell - ARC

I have been wanting to read this book for a really long time because I love the cover of it heaps. It looks like a cute quirky read! I received a copy of this from Netgalley (thank you to the publisher!). The book is scheduled for release on May 1st so I will be reading this one closer to the release date itself. It’s received mixed reviews but I am going in with an open mind. I want to love this due to the complete cuteness factor.

Olivia Bean Trivia Queen - Donna Gephart - ARC

Another really cute cover! Seriously, I am surrounded by them this week! Another ARC I was really really wanting to read and I received from Netgalley. The reviews for this so far look really promising and this one is scheduled for release in the not too distant future - March 13th, so I will be reading this one in the next month or so with any luck. Again, it looks like a really fun, light read which lets face it, is sometimes nice to break up the heavy books!

So that is all from me this week, what’s in your mailbox? Let me know - leave your links in the comments section below!

I bought Switched last week after seeing it pop up in so many IMMs. I was so torn with the covers, I preferred the Australian cover for the first book, but wasn’t keen on the others. Maybe I’ll just have to mix and match. I also really want to read Welcome, Caller, This is Chloe! Enjoy your new books. :)

  • I actually really like the cover of Switched. I have the US/CA version, so the red one and while it is really nice, I think yours is so much nicer!

    Great IMM this week!

    Lindsay :)
