When I’m not reading a book…
Hi folks!!
A non book related post! :-O
I’ve had a great couple of days. Thursday night I went to see Aqua in concert!! For those of you scratching your heads, Aqua were huge in the late 90’s with a string of hits including Barbie Girl, Dr Jones, Roses Are Red, Lollypop (Candyman), Cartoon Heroes, Around The World, Turn Back Time etc.. I could go on! They came out for an Australian tour and the nosteliga factor couldn’t keep me away!! lol I had an amazing amazing night (late though), so much fun and so much dancing!
And then last night we celebrated my best friends birthday AND engagement to her partner. So it was another late night! Unusual for me, because I love nothing more than spending the night curled up with a great book, but every now and then it’s nice to have a break from it right?
So today I am just relaxing with some TV shows. I thought I would ask everyone what they’re watching at the moment since there’s so much great TV!!! I have WAY too many tv shows that I love… I record them and have mini marathons when I am in the mood. haha
Right now, my fave shows include:
- Americas Next Top Model - British Invasion
- Revenge
- Storage Wars
- Grimm
- Jersey Shore
- Dexter & True Blood (hanging out for the new seasons!)
So I am spending the day catching up!
Oh in some kiiiiind of book related news, my best friend is completely amazing and went out and bought two Gold Class tickets for us both to see The Hunger Games!! I cannot wait!!! It’s (for some strange reason) being released a day earlier in Australia, so we’re going on the 22nd! I will have a NON SPOILER post about it on the 23rd talking about what I thought of it. But I am super excited!

Wow — I didn’t know Aqua was still around! I loved them when I was a teen too =) I’m totally hooked on Revenge too … such an addicting drama! And the drama on ANTM last week was an absolute riot (don’t want to spoil it if you’re not there in your mini-marathon yet!) — even my hubby, who usually rolls his eyes and walks out of the room, was gaping at the TV and going “No way! No way!”
I know right?! A friend told me they were coming here, and it was cheap enough. They still look exactly the same! lol
I’m watching THAT episode of ANTM right now actually. I saw the drama on the news of all places… haha They showed a small clip of it, and I was like, no way!! I can’t wait to see it all unfold though!!
