That’s right!!! 1 year TODAY!

Honestly, when I started Book Nerd Reviews, I had no idea. I really didn’t. I knew I loved reading YA books, and it had become an obsession. My blog at the start was humble and hand made. Nothing like on Blogger or WordPress. No. It was all done using Frontpage and my mad HTML skillz. haha I soon learnt I was going about it alllllll the wrong way.

And I haven’t stopped learning from that moment on! I’ve met so many amazing bloggers who have been too happy to point me in the right direction, to give me tips and tricks as we get along. To each person who has taken the time to help me, I thank you sincerely. I still am learning now (as we all are), and I’ve still got a long way to go, but the blog you see now is without a shadow of a doubt much better than the one I started with. I hope it’s a site you enjoy visiting, be it for the reviews, memes, IMM or just the giveaways. I try and have something for everyone, and give people a reason to come back.

I will be having a HUGE blogoversary giveaway. Unfortunately it won’t be right now however. As you’ll have heard me harping on about, I am leaving for the USA in 14 short days (Eeeee!!) and right now every dollar is important to me. If I want an amazing epic giveaway (which I plan on!) I need to make sure I have the moolah to be able to pull it off right?!

SO, I am promising now, that my MAY giveaway will be to celebrate achiving the 1 year mark. And it will be epic. Multiple prizes and international!! And as I am in the States from May 9th and not landing back in Australia until June 1st (plus tack on some jetlag days!), I am thinking about making this giveaway extended to say like June 10th maybe? But keep your eyes peeled!
