Book Tag: The GIF & Book Tag

I’ve been tagged for the GIF & Book tag by the lovely Gina at Behind the Pages and Eugenia at Genie in a Book.

Basically as someone who has only ever used GIFs in a post once, this was bound to be hard for me. And then there is the fact that I hadn’t read a lot of the books (especially those from Gina). Then add to the fact that I had been tagged twice, so I had double the amount :( But I tried, and here it is:

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Geeky cuteness - loved it!

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

Wow, this was one twist I didn’t see coming!

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

I haven’t read this one yet (I know! It is on my list)

Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

My true love! Total fangirling from the day I read it! My love for this book will never fade.

The Falconer by Elizabeth May

I haven’t read this one either

Legend by Marie Lu

Or this one….

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Roald Dahl

Ummm, I am a little confused by this, as I can only think of Oh, The Places You’ll Go - the Dr Seuss one?

The Adventures of the Wishing Chair by Enid Blyton

Ummm, this book does not register in my brain at all.

P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern

I haven’t read this one either

The Twin’s Daughter by Lauren Baratz-Logsted

Yet another one I haven’t read….

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

Disturbing. Brillant. Totally screws with your head

Gone by Michael Grant

Hmmm.. haven’t read it

Storm by Brigid Kemmerer

I will eventually get to a book I have read.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

LOVE this book!

Side Effects May Vary by Julie Murphy

I really enjoyed it, but not a likeable protagonist

Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier

Nope, it hasn’t hit my radar

All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill

I haven’t read this one either. This tag is just telling me how much I haven’t read.

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Kiersten ruined unicorns for me. But I thought this book was fun.

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

Oh come on! Another one I haven’t read? I have read books - I promise!

Basically the rules are I tag others to do this, and I give them 10 more books. But I am going to change the rules! I am not tagging anyone, I am tagging YOU ALL! This is because so many have already been tagged, and I have lost track And on top of that, you can pick 10 books out of the above to do the GIF Book Tag. This tag includes those who have already done it!

What do you think?

  • Asti says:

Haha, I think you’re right. Oh, the Places You’ll Go is a Dr Seuss book, not Roald Dahl! And wow, so many books you haven’t read. You slacker! Though really, I would be the same way. I think I’ve got tagged once to do this tag and the fact that I never use GIFs and I haven’t read all the books included just made me think there’s no way I’ll ever do this tag. I won’t give in! Resist! :P Go you for giving it a go though ;)

I was so confused Asti… it doesn’t take much to confuse me lol.

I know, sooo many books I haven’t read. There needs to be more time for reading in life!

  • Kelly says:

Why are these lists so obscure? I was scratching my head at half of these titles as well. Is that a Beatlejuice GIF? Think that fangirl one is a little subdued to describe your Laini love.

More like Borat at Pamela Anderson’s signing. Now if you haven’t seen the movie, no one will understand that reference and I demand you watch it at once.

    I’ll just wait here.

Well, the lovely Gina came up with half that list, so talk to her about it lol.

And I may have been playing the fangirling down just a little :) (are you still waiting for people to watch Borat?)

  • haha oops. I’m not good at these things! Here’s me thinking that I’ve chosen pretty good books that everyone would have read :/ I laughed at your GIFs though! Even the ones when you haven’t read the book!
