Hi everyone! Welcome to the another edition of Instant Lookback! This is where I show you the bookish pictures I have shared over on Instagram, as well as some links to recent posts.

I know, I know, I have been MIA lately. Work is once again ruining the fun stuff in life, and sadly it will for a little while longer! I am hoping to get back to some normal reading and blogging routine soon, but sadly not yet.

But I have been ridiculously spoilt recently… I have received and read some amazing books, including Nevernight by Jay Kristoff - so much love for this book), and most importantly, some samplers of Strange the Dreamer!!!! Yes, there was fangirlling and squealing involved, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am to amazing people across the globe who conspired or were inspired to get these to me - love you all!

This is also going to be a big edition, as I will post my pictures from the #AusYAChallenge that I failed to finish, as well as some pretty books, and of course, Strange the Dreamer samplers!

And special mention goes to Daughter of Smoke and Bone for day 2 of the #AusYAChallenge - Judged By It’s Cover. Although it does have a gorgeous front cover, it was really the back cover that made me pick it up! #booknerd #bookstagram #instabook

Day 3 of the #AusYAChallenge is LGBTQIA. And my pick is The Raven Boys. I know there are HEAPS of books out there that better represent LGBTQIA, but I love the fact that it is a non-issue in this series (what I have read so far). #booknerd #bookstagram #instabook

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is definitely a world I want to live in, so it is a must for day 5 of the #ausyachallenge! All background images are by the amazing Jim Di Bartolo. Some very special samplers I received from some amazing overseas friends:

Less than 3 months until Strange the Dreamer is released! I am super excited!!!! I have read both the samplers, and for those wondering, yes they are different! But the both prove this book is enthralling and imaginative, and painful in the fact that it only gives you a taste of how utterly amazing this book is going to be!!
