Good morning everyone! How is your Sunday? I am planning a whole day of nothing if that is possible… I haven’t had one of those days in a long time!

On to IMM this week! As always In My Mailbox is a weekly meme bought to you by the lovely Kristi at The Story Siren.

Pure - Julianna Baggott

This is the Australian cover! It’s very different to the US one… I like it. You can choose from this black over or a similar all white cover over here. Personally I thought the black one looked better… a little bit more sinister looking, and it also will probably not show any marks on the book as easy also (practical thinking!). From all reviews this book is an incredibly dark, bleak and terrifying dystopian novel, which sounds like a different type to others I have read. I am REALLY keen to check this out!

Fated - Sarah Alderson

How awesome is this cover for a start? It really creates intrigue - I know I want to know more! When Evie Tremain discovers that she’s the last in a long line of Demon slayers and that she’s being hunted by an elite band of assassins –Shapeshifters, Vampires and Mixen demons amongst them – she knows she can’t run. They’ll find her wherever she goes. Instead she must learn to stand and fight. I am seriously looking forward to this, and I am hoping to start this one quite soon!

Night School - C.J. Daugherty

I honestly haven’t heard too much about this book, but the cover drew me in when I visited Dymocks this week. They had this one advertised as a new release and the reviews actually look really solid!
Allie Sheridan’s world is falling apart. She hates her school and she’s just been arrested. Again. Her parents ship her to Cimmeria Academy. But it’s no ordinary school. Its rules are strangely archaic. It allows no computers or phones. Its students are an odd mixture of the gifted, the tough and the privileged. And then there’s the secretive Night School, whose activities other students are forbidden even to watch. Allie must learn who she can trust. And what’s really going on at Cimmeria Academy.

Supergirl Mixtapes - Meagan Brothers (ARC)

I honestly don’t know much about this book EXCEPT for the fact that the cover is so amazing that I just had to read it. Is that superficial? Perhaps - but let’s face it, we all love a great cover! I really do love that this book is set around 1995 or there abouts! I am a huge fan of the 90’s and I am a fairly nostelgic kind of person, so I am hoping this is awesome. It’s received fairly mixed reviews, I wonder if the age of the reader would affect how much they like this? Who knows, but I will definitely be reviewing this closer to the release date!
